Supply Chain Transparency

Supply Chain Transparency

At https://jjjc.shop, sustainability is at the heart of our brand. As one of the first brands committed to sustainability, ethical design, women empowerment and most importantly an active and healthy lifestyle, we make sure to tell stories that inspire people to stay conscious, active and expressive through our different chapters. We believe that in this way, we are agents of change.

We strive to do the least harm to the planet in everything we do. To achieve this, we have started measuring our impact in supply chain transparency, raw materials, seasonless fashion, social advocacy and giving back.

Sustainable Raw Materials

It takes about 230,000 litres of water to produce one kilogram of cotton, which is equivalent to one t-shirt and one pair of jeans. That’s why we took the bold step of tracing our supply chain and started using sustainable fibers in our product range. Both organic cotton and organic denim certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) have recently been included in our supply chain. This helps us support working with nature

We ensure that all printing processes are carried out in GOTS certified manufacturing units. Our goal is to ensure that our printing mills use the most environmentally friendly and ethical products and are certified with a focus on responsible water, chemical and energy footprint. Therefore, we make sure that our material sourcing and material production have minimal impact on the ecosystem.

Repurposed fabrics

Around 15% of garment fabric ends up on the cutting room floor. This waste rate has long been tolerated by the industry. We repurpose fabric offcuts to make headbands and other products to ensure zero waste.

Deadstock

Every season, we try to find deadstock in the local community. Stock that has not been moved in warehouses or used for home decoration and interior decoration. We then find innovative ways to incorporate this stock into our collections. The results are usually very surprising and pleasing to us.

Seasonless

Minimal production

Every season has a story and always stays true to the concept of seasonlessness; we consciously create must-have pieces that are timeless, durable and always loved. We produce in small batches and only when ordered to minimize waste and excess stock. We are constantly working to slow down consumption and sell products that are not subject to seasonal changes and have a longer life than ordinary clothing.

Circularity

Looking to the future, it is clear that today's continuous fashion model has reached its limits and is no longer sustainable. The solution is to transition to a circular model, accelerating change across the industry; so that our clothes never become waste.
