This season’s Elizabethan inspiration, realised in the two striking Salerno styles: fusing the era’s sartorial decadence across Italy and Britain with the rugged textures in the lives of the lacemakers: hammered silks, ornate embellishment, braided leathers juxtaposed against linen, cords and cotton.
